Sally Eva
This is the Riverside loop -- a circular ride along both sides of the Thames. Guaranteed completely flat. The ride starts and finishes in Deal Porter Square, which is next to Canada Water Library, opposite Canada Water Station, SE16 7AR. Canada Water Station is on the Overground and has a lift which will take 3 bikes at once. East Dulwich station has step-free access and the change at Peckham Rye is across the platform -- Peckham Rye Station does not have a lift. The ride will be the usual easy-paced ride on mostly quiet streets and paths. From CW station it will go east along Deptford riverside to the Cutty Sark in Greenwich. Then through the foot tunnel, around the west side of Isle of Dogs, through Wapping and back over Tower Bridge. The return along the south bank follows Nat Route 4 through Bermondsey and Rotherhithe back to Canada Water. David will be leading. The route is here at Everyone welcome. Under 18s should bring a long-suffering adult. It's all free. This series of easy-paced mostly two-hour Saturday morning rides is organised by Bruce Lynn and Friends on behalf of Southwark Cyclists. Our website is here: https://southwarkcyclists.org.uk. We are the borough branch of the London Cycling Campaign which campaigns for safer cycling in London. You don't need to live in Southwark or join LCC or indeed qualify in any way at all to come on our rides. Everyone is welcome and welcomed.
