apenn
My 2 1/2 year old is over 16kg and it looks like most of the buggies out there only go up to a max of 15. Anyone out there have a recommendation for something that suits a big toddler?Thanks,-A Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/20683-apologies-for-another-buggy-advice-thread/ Share on other sites
snowboarder
The 15kg weight limit is misleading - it's something to do with prams only being tested up to 15kg in the uk/europe (?) - check weight limits for the same buggy on us sites for example and you will see that the maclaren quest (for eg) has a 'carrying capacity' of 55lb (25kg?) in America. And I'm pretty certain it's exactly the same buggy.Otherwise - check out some of the sturdier sports type buggies - the nipper 360 (22kg), mountain buggy swift (35kg), phil and teds...etc... apenn
Thanks, Snowboarder. That makes sense and explains the difference between the weight limits on the Maclaren website and the weight limits posted on the sites of UK retailers. -A Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/20683-apologies-for-another-buggy-advice-thread/#findComment-503837 Share on other sites
