Getting too dark and weather too unreliable to carry on. This Thursday October 18th will be the last Dr Bike of 2018. By the end the mechanics (or their helpers) will be holding bike lights to illuminate the work in progress.

All this action will be at the Dunton Road/Lynton Road lights from 5.30-7.30pm on the corner opposite Cafe Crol (see pic). Our experienced professional and volunteer mechanics will fettle your bike -- tighten the brakes, index the gears, adjust the handlebars and seat to fit you and offer wise advice.

All this is absolutely free and everyone is welcome. We are Southwark Cyclists and we are the borough branch of the London Cycling Campaign which campaigns for fun, safe cycling in London.   Between Herne Hill and North Dulwich gives you good options for transport. You have the line into London Bridge, trains to Victoria and the Thameslink into City Thameslink. Plus it's not too far from Brixton tube.

  You do know that this post is the reason that forums exist? So that people can ask for help, advice etc. I'm not sure what "...daughter of mothers" means but if you mean friends, not everyone has friends, or is confident enough to ask other mums at the school. Oh and you it's nothing to do with your age - be kind, be helpful or if you can't, leave it to someone who can.
