Last minute / Emergency Childcare - due to toddler illness

Does anyone have any last minute / emergency childcare contacts they use when they can't send their child to nursery but must go to work. Could you please let me know

I have never heard of anything like this before other than where relatives or very close friends can step in. It is one of the hardest parts of working with young children. It's usually a case of juggling diaries and putting in some hours when the little one is asleep.
