Looking for a family for nanny share

Hi, we are a family with a 20 month old daughter, and we already have a lovely nanny, who we've been using for a year, but we are looking for a family to join us in a share, as the family in our current share are leaving. We are based on the Peckham Rye end of Barry Road, and would be looking to do a Monday - Thursday share, though there might be some flexibility,

Please PM me if you want more details,

Thanks!

Hi,

Could I have more details please? We are moving to Dulwich in December and are seeking childcare from the start of January - a nanny share would be ideal. We have two boys who will be 12 months and 3.5 years although we are hoping that the older boy will be at pre-school for some of the time. We both work in schools and need term time only cover between about 8-5:30pm.

Many thanks, Catherine

    • I know people won’t have any sympathy but the SEND challenge was brought up when taxing parents who have opted for independent school to meet a child’s SEND needs. Funding crisis is getting worse and the VAT on Education pushed children out of independent schools, now their SEND needs are to be met by the state.
    • I completely agree with you - and last night was really terrible where I am. Between midnight and 1am was the worst, where it genuinely felt like a war zone. I had to run out of my house to try and stop a grown man setting them off in open space right by our front doors. In response he went to throw a half lit one at me and then seemed to think better of it. I am so sad at how bad the situation has got here and how selfish people are. Fireworks are bad for the environment and for pets and wildlife, as well as just being unnecessary noise for people too. I have sent an email today to Helen Hayes, which I have done previously on this issue. Would advise anyone to write to your MP to do the same, and to ask them to engage with the debates scheduled for 19 Jan.
    • And they started long before midnight!
    • First mate - I wondered if I was imagining things at 4.45 this morning . Apparently not .
