A Lovely fully furnished ground floor 2 bed TO LET from mid December, with it's own front door, private garden and huge shared garden flat to rent short term. One king bed and one double bedroom off the living room. Free parking and I also manage the building and know all other nice tenants. Total of 4 flats in the building. It's quiet and very private. I am looking to rent this out for short term including bills and then possibly longer term after without bills included. It is on SE26 4DP, just off Sydenham Park Road, 8 mins walk to Forest Hill station.

It is my home and want some other lovely ones to also take care of it. It is homely and cosy and furnished very nicely.

Includes ALL bills. 6 month minimum preferably but can be open. I will require a deposit and references. I will supply a Tenancy contract.

Let me know if you are interested? PM me please.

Thanks,

Catherine

    • They used to have dedicated park wardens, who I'm sure used to look after the parks and locked and opened the gates. Years ago I knew someone who was one. I thought they were based in that hut by the toilets. Are they not there any more? The community wardens are attached to the police rather than a specific park, aren't they?
    • Yes, sad how Rye Lane has taken a dive, interesting to see those pics CPR Dave. It's shocking how the section between Choumert Road and the Nag's Head in particular has lost its vibrancy, meanwhile the next section to the top of Peckham Rye Common has gentrified. Wonder why such a distinction in fortunes? Anyway the station square plans have fallen behind yet again, demolition won't now start this summer. The only "work" that will now take place this summer is surveying of the arcade, which they've had 10 years since planning permission to do. At least the replacement TSB branch has progressed but the Blenheim Grove corner building still looks unfinished, despite claims it "is now complete". https://www.southwark.gov.uk/planning-environment-and-building-control/current-and-future-development/peckham-and-nunhead-2
    • DKH was two form entry, it is now one form entry to cope with the fact it was far more under subscribed than other schools in the area. They had actually combined year groups into single classes, 3/4 and 5/6.  When a school changes name, it’s usually because of a bad reputation perhaps the results.  The new name is dry with no history unlike its current name. It’s a very sketchy decision. It’s an expensive vanity project for someone.  What  will happen if the name change does not increase applications to the school?
