No left turn at Randlesdown Rd for EuroCar Parts - Billingham Trading estate

Does anyone have any ideas why the left turn from Randlesdown Rd to Franthorne Way for Billingham Trading estate is not allowed ?

My mother got a ticket for going there the other day.

I cannot seems to see a valid reason for it being there, but they had a camera van parket on it and were giving out tickets.

DOes anyone know what the procedure is to get rid of the restriction ?

Thanks for the link, but it doesn't help in anyway. The idea is to get the signs removed as I see no reason for the left turn to not be allowed.

That's most likely a matter for Lewisham Council, and not an East Dulwich issue.

[ETA: Removed irrelevant reference to Traffic Signs Manual. I didn't notice the LH sign.]

The no left turn and the no right turn coming out of franthrope way is there so delivery vehicles have to accesss bellingham trading estate from the a21 not via the back roads

Also to stop people cutting the lights at the corner to turn left on to the A21 by cutting through the trading estate.

The trading estate road does not go anyware so it would be a waste of time
