Grown up lunch date?

Mr f and I are going out to lunch today, alone

Any ideas where to go? I like thai and southern Indian, mr f Luke's all spicy food

I am a veggy

He is not

We have 3.5h

Would be nice to just sit in a pub with the papers, but shame not to have curry now we have the chance

We have been before to a nice Thai by forest hill station

Sometimes we go to ganapati

Any other ideas? Pref with nice pub close by

I like Buddha Jazz, another nice one is Lombok on Half Moon Lane, not sure if they do lunch though.

Do Buddha jazz do much veggy stuff?

I do like Thai corner cafe and we regularly get take away from there but it's not v special. Isn't there a chinese place in Camberwell that everyone raves about?

Buddha Jazz are mostly Vietnamese I believe, but combined with Thai and Indonesian. A list of "standard" South East Asian dishes and some unique Vietnames ones if I remember correctly.

Wuli wuli in SE5 is pretty outstanding, lots of veggie options!

It's in Brixton Village, strongly recommend Elephant, the most divine chicken thali and veg only thali, very reasonable cost, can't reserve place and you can bring own booze, possibly more an evening place, thought I'd spread the word.
