Mr f and I are going out to lunch today, alone


Any ideas where to go? I like thai and southern Indian, mr f Luke's all spicy food


I am a veggy

He is not


We have 3.5h


Would be nice to just sit in a pub with the papers, but shame not to have curry now we have the chance


We have been before to a nice Thai by forest hill station


Sometimes we go to ganapati


Any other ideas? Pref with nice pub close by


Is the Thai corner cafe nice these days, we stopped going there many years ago

    • Threads that devolve like this should be moved to the Lounge, so the 'comedy' can continue in an appropriate vacuum.
    • How very dare you. Rest assured, if it were intended to be comedy, it would have been funny.
    • I hadn't looked at the actual posts on Instagram. That's sad, then. The shop opening hours are still shown at the top of the page. I  guess changing them wasn't uppermost in her mind under the circumstances.
    • I want to recommend the kitchen fitters Top Marx kitchens. They were excellent from the communication, the planning and the fitting. John did a fantastic job of of fitting and worked around and solved many of the issues we had with Ikea who we purchased from. John gave lots of helpful advice and support. We would definitely use them again for any kitchen work. I have added before and after photos.
