Nanny with own children P/T Tuesday-Friday

I have around 15 years of professional and personal experience of looking after babies, toddlers and children.

I am a mum of three, two girls that are both at school (7,8) and a little boy 8 months. I would really like a family that would be accommodating of my children. Bringing the my little boy along during the day and the girls being around after school (so effectively a nanny share). Either at my house or at theirs or a combination, if at mine I am flexable and can pick up and drop home if that helps.

I understand the reservation of having a nanny with their own children being there, as I would. But I would always be professional and treat any child in my care as if there were my own as I would expect someone to treat my own children in their care. This is VERY important to me as it would be for any parent.

I am very aware of child development and the current curriculum The Early Years Foundation Stage. Having worked across different child care settings and age groups it has made me very aware of development milestones. I am able to use and adapt different activties to benifit the child/children with their development. I am trained up to Degree level in Early Years I also have a CACHE Level 3 in Child Care and Education.

    • I imagine Franco Manca's business dropped off quite a bit when Yard Sale opened (though isn't Yard Sale delivery only?) But in any case, both of those are chains.
    • Thanks. I'll call them shortly as I could get there without the car.  That's good of Sainsburys! We've done the apple pie and tart thing, an ongoing muesli thing and the coleslaw thing - just not sure what effect all the sugars are having on our digestive tracts.
    • One time Sainsbury's delivered 6 bags of apples instead of 6 single apples which I couldn't possibly get through. I phoned Pecan in Peckham to ask if they would accept them despite their website stating no fresh foods. I must have phoned at just the right time as they were happy to accept them. Sainsburys gave me a refund so the donation was courtesy of them. Or you could experiment with all kinds of apple recipes and write a blog about it
    • There's a food bank off Dog Kennel Hill. Albrighton Community Fridge. https://www.albrightoncommunityfridge.org/ I'm sure they would welcome them, but maybe check first, as they don't actually mention fresh fruit on their website? But apples aren't that perishable. Drop off seven days a week 9 - 5. Be warned if you are going by car, parking can be very difficult, easiest if there are two of you so one person can take the food in while the other can move the car if necessary.
