There is a Groupon deal on until midnight for a dental implant for ?995 at Angel Dental and Cosmetic Centre. I have not smiled properly in months and I desperately need a new tooth! Implants are usually ?2,500 so this is a really good deal.

However, I am not very familiar with implant procedures and I am not sure whether it is safe to just buy a voucher off the internet without really knowing very much about the centre or the procedure... I am now in the process of researching.

Has anybody had this done before? If so, do you have any advice?

Thank you

The Weekend Guardian covered Groupon a couple of weeks ago. It maybe worth looking at the Guardian website - not a particularly positive story. Many reports of people either not being able to get the deal they had paid for or finding the company selling the deal cheaper if you went to them directly.
I need one or two myself. It depends how much bone you've got to support the implant. If you have been told you have peridontal disease to any degree, you might have difficulty finding a dentist to do the work. Get a professional assessment of your bone and gums

    • It was a reactionary post and inappropriate when talking about a real case and a real person who was harmed.  London streets are generally pretty safe.  Sadly violent crime happens from time to time, as it always has.
    • Do tell, CPR Dave, what the spiteful jealous stuff is - I'm intrigued.  Agree - Burnham is a top class communicator (polar opposite of Starmer) he'd do a great job of uniting the party. I still think Wes Streeting has the edge, though I'm sure he has more enemies as well.
    • This is a huge part of the problem.   Starmer is only interested in himself, not in what is best for our country.    There's a litany of stuff he's done for spiteful jealous personal reasons which has damaged the nation enormously. Burnham would be a much better leader than of the other dross left behind when Starmer goes. To inflict a worse leader (and PM) upon us for his own selfish reasons would add to the problems and be entirely in keeping with his woeful premiership so far.
    • I heard today there was a burglary in Lacon Road yesterday evening between 20.00 - 22.00,  apparently the owners were home at the time & thieves got away with electrical items along with the owners car!  Wtf!   Anyone heard anything else?
