After that appalling start, England didn't do so badly, but I know I'm going to have that gnawing feeling in my stomach until it's all over.

No Sky*, so only have TMS and OBO to go on, but Mitchell Johnson didn't seem on form. I saw him at Kent recently and he was positively scary.

*After 10 years' protest and not signing up to the Evil One, I may just have to concede that it won't return to terrestial tv.

I love a nail-biting test. This morning I thought England had it in the bag. A huge run chase for Australia, but you never know.

Great to see England on the front foot again - win or lose. Root, Ali, Stokes and Wood are great to watch - Ballance, Bell and Buttler battling through difficulties, a real fighting team - even Broad seems to have woken up a little.
