This is a collection of the all time greats of comedy and presented beautifully in a tin wheel. Would make a perfect gift for someone. I bought it as a gift for someone for ?30 from Debenhams (Still sealed with price sticker on back) but never got the chance to give it to them. Hopefully it can bring joy to others. Running time 19 hours

Based in SE22. Could deliver also if local. Box has very minor damage in some corners but hardly noticeable and once opened would be irrelevant.

From the back of the box:

Featuring over 19 hours of classic comedy from cinema's golden age, this glorious selection showcases the legendary films of silver screen icons Charlie Chaplin, Laurel & Hardy, Buster Keaon and Harold Lloyd.

Please see picture for full details from back of box.

Thanks!

Neil

Excuse me for butting in, but here's a more legible version of the back of the box, lifted from https://www.amazon.co.uk/Golden-Age-Comedy-DVD-Collectors/dp/B01BGXQI6O. No more details of the Keatons or Lloyds, unfortunately, though I suspect any will do well as a taster. Remember the Keaton summer seasons at the Academy in Oxford Street?

This career-spanning collection of Stan and Ollie's anarchic comedy is truly one to treasure. • Hello! We are relocating abroad and so will be withdrawing our two children (ages 4 and 6) from St Dunstan’s College (Catford). If any family is considering enrolling children of a similar age, now would be an excellent opportunity—we’re required to pay full‑term fees unless the places are taken. Please get in touch if you’re interested or know someone who might be. Thank you!

    • Thanks for your reply. I’ve subscribed to Ancestry a few times in the past but felt I wasn’t using it enough to warrant keeping up the subscription.
    • Hi, I saw your post and just wanted to say that the incident you’re referring to did happen in the late 1980s at Dawson’s Heights. The person involved was named Carl Salawa, and he had just turned 18 years old at the time. Like you, I haven’t been able to find any news articles or official reports about it, If anyone remembers anything more about that time or incident, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for sharing what you were told—it means a lot to know others remember.
