Stemwell Workshop will be hosting an Introduction to Natural Dyeing

Discover the beauty of natural dyes using plants, leaves and botanical extracts. This is a one day introduction to the process where you will unearth the potential colour in plants that grow all around you. Using wool, peace silk and reclaimed cotton, you will learn to prepare fabric for dyeing. We will dye with readily available plants and vegetables such as onion skins, avocado pips, acorns, eucalyptus leaves, along with botanical extracts of weld and madder. You will leave with a swatch book full of samples and the knowledge to continue experimenting at home.

All materials provided. Please bring an apron and notepad.
