Hi there,

Does anyone know of any good second hand furniture shops? I know there are 2 in Crystal Palace, but can anyone recommend any others in the area? Typically looking for dining chairs, side tables, coffee tables, mid century or 70's in style. Any help pls let me know, thank you!

There's the place opposite Dulwich Library, an emporium no less. Always interesting stuff.

I can second the Sydenham St. Christopher's shop, some lovely furniture there.

Also in Bellenden Road there's a shop called Worn not Torn, which has some good looking items

    • FWIW, I downloaded the file named ACA PRESS RELEASE 7 October.docx, using its link https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=121617&key=2ad3b20cf9d62e82315a3607eee83ec7 at 17:08 and submitted it to https://virusscan.jotti.org/en-US/scan-file# , which reported "Found nothing". I then uploaded  it to https://acrobat.adobe.com/gb/en/word-to-pdf, and saved the PDF version that created as file ACA+PRESS+RELEASE+7+October.pdf, which I now attach. ACA+PRESS+RELEASE+7+October.pdf

If we posted something like this a couple of years ago we would be laughed at as unserious   https://www.reuters.com/world/us/trump-calls-chicago-mayor-illinois-governor-be-jailed-2025-10-08/
    • As far as I am aware, the UK are not selling weapons to Russia and aren’t helping the Sudanese government to commit massacres. I also doubt that the Sudanese authorities claims that their army is “the most moral army in the world” and I also doubt that they are backed up by the majority of the Western world. This is why people are marching on Saturday, to reiterate that killing children is not ok and to show the world that they are not alone fighting against that evil fascist government, nothing more, nothing less. P.S: if you’re aware of any marches going on in London for the poor Sudanese people, I will gladly attend.
