Cashpoint scam - pharmacy ATM on Half Mon Lane

I've just seen this posted on Herne Hill Mums facebook page. I've attached the photo the lady included on her post.

If you do see this, do not assume the machine has got your card and call the bank immediately to tell them what has happened.

Hi Mums & Dads, **BEWARE**

Just wanted to share a cash point scam I just fell victim to in Herne Hill on Half Moon Lane.

I managed to view everything that happened on CCTV... Two men fixed the cash machine so it swallowed my card saying ?service suspended customer tampering suspected ? so after a few attempts at getting my card back I walked off... (one of the men actually advised me to go and cancel it.)

They then quickly extracted my card and went to Tesco cash point and took out all my money (having also probably recorded my pin).

May have been a one off incident but thought I?d share incase they?ve found a good spot to operate in.

That's dreadful!

earlier this week at Sainsburys DKH a small gadget was found(where you put your card in) in one of the cash machines, so definitely be careful.

Something very similar happened to a number of people at Barclays cashpoints Lordship Lane ED. Seems a spate of seasonal tampering going down.
