Good News, Poundland Lordship Lane is NOT closing. This is according to the lady on the till that served me today. I took a look at the notice on the door outside and nowhere does it mention Tesco! -

Just wanted to come on and give the very highest of recommendations for the service I received from Nunhead Carpets. Not only did Vince (shop manager) open up shop again for us when we arrived late, on spec to see samples, and talk us through all the options but Darren, who then came to fit the new carpet and underlay on five flights of stairs and two landings, has done an incredible job going beyond expectations. Expert work from a real pro, arrived on the dot, worked hard and left everything looking wonderful. I cannot speak more highly of this service and will use them again in a whisper.
