shakespeare22
We purchased this last year but decided to go for a larger one instead & it has been sitting in our spare room cupboard boxed - but unfortunately we have nowhere to put it - so it needs a new home! Really great reproduction & quality ( we have real ones at home too) - even comes with white gloves to handle it when putting up We paid about ?110 for it, but would accept ?75 ONO. These lights are sold in Heals & SCP & John Lewis.George Nelson Bubble Ball Ceiling Light Product Details The Bubble lamp designed by George Nelson is a true design classic. These lamps with their simple sculptural shapes were constructed of an innovative taut, woven plastic that coated a steel wire-frame. Designed in 1947 and introduced in the early 1950's, Nelson's unique design and ingenious use of materials prove to eliminate glare and provide an abundant, yet diffused light. These famous lamps are part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. A perfect replica completely sympathetic to the original design.
