My car was parked outside my house, which was LOCKED and it was broken into.

I happened to go down to my Mum and Dads that morning, and my Dad gave me some significant family history information about my Great Aunt who I was named after. These were put in a plastic Marks and Spencers bag, and left in my car, which I was going to get after I had taken my children inside, however it got late and I did not go out to my car till the next morning. The bag contained documents and certificates about my Great Aunt, Katharine Ross Cameron, a little box of Patience cards, and a box with 'MBE' on the front containing 3 medals - an 'MBE', Silver Jubilee Medal, and Colonial Service Medal. The inscription inside the box was 'Garrad and company'.

The next morning, my car had been broken into and the Marks and Spencer bag had gone.

These papers and medals would not mean anything to anyone apart from me and my family, so if anyone sees them in a charity shop, pawn shop or antique shop, please telephone me and I would willingly buy them back.

My telephone number is 07980 736 801.

Thank you for your help.

    • Anyone can deliver for Evri - my daughter having just passed her driving test tried Evri to make some money - they basically give you a route and as many parcels as they think you can cope with - you make money for each one you deliver, so you can imagine - speed is the priority. Why would they wait for you to answer the door when they can just throw it and take a photo? If you have a choice, choose a different courier service or shop elsewhere where they do.
    • Boil - it’s the customer’s fault, not the delivery person’s.
    • A bit of a long shot but I'm on the lookout for a portable pop-up counter or podium.   The kind you often see on a high street, used by charities or utility companies to advertise their wares.   I've included a photo to give you the idea. I'm a peckham-based artist and am looking for one for a free (and non-profit) community art project.  It can be in any workable condition and can already have signage on it as we will remove and redecorate ourselves.    Thanks in advance, Linzie
    • No I absolutely did not - that much is clear. Have you read the latest stories about Unite, Len and the hotel in Birmingham? The UK electorate were smart enough to reject a far-left party in 2019, let's hope they are smart enough to reject a far-right party at the next election too. If not we are all doomed.
