Crystal Palace is great, if you want to go less far Ferndene Road on the south of Ruskin Park has a terrific unobstructed view of London from the City to Battersea, you get a spectacular display from there.

    • They are so good. Fabulous people too. I love the food - AND they are dog friendly. I don't understand why everyone queues at the place next door when this like goldmine is right THERE!    
    • I was just saying this to someone the other day, I have a photo of me at my first job in 1995 with an ashtray and 20 B&H on my desk!  
    • Just passed by and it does look nice. I'll try to go in soon. In fact, that whole little stretch of Uplands Rd seems to be having a little renaissance. 
    • It's like that most of the time.  Like many, I can only use it at certain times due to work hours and the queue is always out of the door, that said it does tend to move pretty quickly.  Think I was in and out in 25 mins last time which I would call a success! Don't mind Sue, think she woke up on the wrong side of the Post Office queue this morning!
