joseph holly
We're East Dulwich residents, but our bolt-hole is a stunning cottage on the beach in Northumberland. There's still some availability to book it for a break in 2019, and we're also beginning to take bookings for 2020 - visit our website at www.beachcottagenorthumberland.com for all the details. The Guardian last weekend featured Druridge Bay as one of the UK's most beautiful walks. Druridge Bay beach is literally a stone's throw from Anchor Cottage. "Visitors to Northumberland usually head for the north of the county, for the castles and wild scenery of Dunstanburgh and Bamburgh, but my favourite winter walk is further south, along the wide sweep of Druridge Bay with Coquet Island at its northernmost tip. I like it best on clear, icy mornings when every reed and blade of grass is covered in frost, and the light is pink and grey." - Ann Cleeves, author of the Vera Stanhope crime novel series Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/214109-northumberland-beach-cottage/ Share on other sites
