Christine Neillands - Hypnotherapist

All, I just wanted to put a recommendation in about Christine Neillands, a clinical hypnotherapist who works in the local area (www.advanced-hypnosis-works.co.uk).

I'm a writer with a terrible fear of public speaking. I'm also a cynic about hypnotherapy - but I was getting pretty desperate with various readings and public performances coming up which I didn't want to mess up and so thought I'd try it. There wasn't a pendulum in sight; and not once did she say 'look into my eyes.' Not once, I tell you! Christine was absolutely brilliant - I can't recommend her highly enough. Even though I went to see her for public speaking, I think she does stuff around stopping smoking and natural birth etc. I'm well chuffed with the results.

Christine completely solved my insomnia which had persisted for over 15 years, and I had tried everything else I could think of. I now sleep all night, every night after years and years of falling asleep quickly but then waking and staying awake for hours in the night. Going to see her has been transformational and I recommend her unreservedly.

    • Because of the weather which delayed completion with roofer only being able to work certain days, it was up from November - end of January. Went slightly higher than gutters (we also had guttering replaced).
    • It's tough being a courier and the pay which is largely based on the number they deliver is miserable. Hence the staff turnover is high. EFRI was previously branded as HERMES but they had to create a new brand name because of poor performance. We get regular courier deliveries and EVRI are by far the worst. They just drop the parcel at the front door - often without ringing the bell. But worst is when they deliver to the equivalent door number on LL instead of ours on EDG. Best are ParcelForce, DHL and DPD by a wide margin.
    • I know the couple you mean, and she has always been friendly and smiley when delivering to me, but obviously in a hurry, for all the reasons outlined in the thread. My gate is always open, however (unless someone coming to the house closes it when they leave). I can't see the point of gates that have to be opened and shut again every time someone comes to the house. It just seems a waste of time, and it's annoying if you are carrying stuff. And a closed gate  conveys a sort of "my house is my fortress" feel. To me, anyway.
    • Thanks for posting this. Really interesting. It would be good if you added a star rating, so that it was easier to do comparisons / see what your top recommendations are. Great blog though!
