Recommended: Dulwich Personal Trainer - Gokay

Just a quick note to recommend my personal trainer Gokay given it is that time of the year when many of us want to burn off the excesses of Xmas.

I have been training with Gokay for nearly 3 years now, his sessions are intense and very effective. He also gives great advice on diet. This has helped me do 3 things:

1. Lose a couple of stone and keep it off.

2. Fundamentally improve my core strength - the difference to simple things like balance and getting up is massive

3. Get fit enough to get properly involved in other sports

His set-up at Old Alleynians is good too - outdoor and private. And on top of all that he is a very nice guy - which really makes sessions a lot easier (except in the physical sense).

His details are on his website at http://www.gokayfitness.com

Good luck!

I used to think a Personal Trainer is completely useless, waste time and money until I met Gokay!

I would highly recommend him. He motivates me, pushes me and I leave our sessions feeling like I've tackled a new obstacle.

He is down to earth and very professional.

Looking forward to many more training sessions!

I would highly recommend Gokay for PT. I started going to Gokay after my 2nd child and needed some motivation to shift the baby weight. I know with Gokay I?m getting specialised advice and he will plan the lesson to suit my needs. I go on my own or with a friend and both work really well. Also the best part is unlike the gym you can?t make an excuse after 10 minutes!

    • Yup. At best I have people who detest Trump shrugging and saying something like “what ya gonna do?” Like that is any kind of answer what we gonna do is condemn, and watch out for same happening here - and watch out for all the handmaidens who would allow this to happen.  Apologists for Farage, Jenrick etc
    • There are plenty of Jewish people on these marches, who have every right to stand up and say not in our name. A Jewish bloc attends every single one: https://jfjfp.com/voices/jjp-at-the-gaza-demonstrations/ Jewish peoples lives are being made less safe by this war, as we recently saw in Manchester and in the clear increase in antisemitism. They want to see Peace, and this will only happen with justice for the Palestinians. Most have - within living memory - members of their families who have been murdered by an authoritarian regime. They know what they are seeing and why they are marching. Calling going on march 'indulging in Jew hatred' is just ridiculous. You've clearly never been on one. Engage your critical faculties and think about why these marches are being smeared, rather than spouting what the right wing press and home secretary tell you.
