Looking for a restaurant for a special occasion dinner that caters for Vegans - and not just one boring option, somewhere that actually has OPTIONS FOR VEGANS - i know this is rare!! As local as possible, but am willing to travel for something special. PLEASE HELP. The special occasion is at the end of Jan so i haven't got long to organise it!! Thanks in advance neighbours :)

There are a few vegan catering options in Peckham levels, and you can drink in the bar and get many of them delivered so people have a wide choice, but Wildflower is a separate restaurant and is particularly lovely https://wildflowerpeckham.uk/

Further afield, people seem keen on The Gate for fancier meals but I haven't tried it myself https://thegaterestaurants.com/#menus.

This vegan Japanese place near Kings Cross is really good http://www.itadakizen-uk.com/.

Club Mexicana at the Spread Eagle in Homerton is fun and tasty (but noisy and far away!)

Few more suggestions here but I would say none of the rest of these are particularly "special occasion dinner" suitable of the ones that I've tried https://secretldn.com/vegan-restaurants-london/.

El pastor in London Bridge has good and tasty options but its always busy!

Mildreds is great, they even have real nice desserts and there are spread across london,

Voodoo Rays Peckham has room and good vegan options,

The rye pub has vegan options too and have a cute lil restaurant area

Rock Rum Steady Lounge on North Cross Road do Vegan Options https://docs.wixstatic.com/ugd/ca4780_9867971cbc524410b4869af9a9ad1d64.pdf

Picky Wops at The White Horse Pub Peckham Rye do the best pizzas ever! They made a pizza for me with a Plantain base, wow!

    • As I said, it was my understanding. I worded it very carefully. I didn't/don't know for sure, so clearly not a fact. And hardly an "opinion", which is something completely different. You have no idea what reason anybody might have had for not voting for him (unless you can point to some opinion poll results which actually asked people?)
    • Also, just to add, the threat to kill someone's dog and try to kick it, is an additional extremely unpleasant layer. I have noticed a lot of the burst water balloons lying around in the park too- that is not great for the environment either.
    • I’m basing it on the fact that Jeremy Corbyn had repeatedly and on record said he is against mandatory vaccinations in any situation, and he wouldn’t disclose wether he had the Covid vaccine himself    as I said. Not as bad as his brother but very definitely a bit weird about the whole thing. Just say you had the vaccination Jeremy, say that everyone should and stop being weird in the middle of a global pandemic    it’s the same slippery evasive nonsense about Brexit and him. About Putin poisonings and him.     if you are happy with his evasiveness then you do you.  But there is a reason the country wouldn’t get behind him
