Introduction to Watercolour course is starting January 16th!

This is a fun course for beginners or those with a bit of previous experience who want to brush up their skills.


10 weeks on Wednesday afternoons from 2-5pm. ?150 standard or just ?75 if you qualify for concessionary rate.


Topics will include painting from observation, still life and landscape as well as imagination and abstraction, aiming to equip you with a range of skills and techniques so you can feel more confident to paint on your own.


There is a daytime creche with some places available for students of the centre.

Local authorities of all political persuasions across England are facing tough times, several have gone into administration: Birmingham, Woking, Thurrock, Croydon, Slough, Northamptonshire, and Nottingham and 11 are on bailouts.   Covid will not have helped.  Some will have made some poor investment decisions in the past eg Thurrock and Woking;  Some total mismanagement and one has been hit by historical debt through not paying their workers fairly (Brum).   Reform promise simple solutions to cutting spending.  Not that easy is it Nige?
