Handyman - recommendation James Carmichael

I wanted to recommend James Carmichael, a fantastic handyman!

He completed some (annoying) plumbing jobs for us recently and some electric work last year - and I cannot recommend enough.

James is very professional, friendly, reliable and 'gets the job done' - no matter how tedious it turns out to be (James went out of his way to find the right part of a less common bathroom tap, which involved travelling all over London on his Saturday)! His work is to a very high standard, and his communication is impeccable.

I realise this sounds like I have shares in the James Carmichael enterprise, yet although I would not mind, I don't and this is a sincere recommendation.

Highly recommended - James Carmichael 07971 992899.

Just wanted to add my recommendation for James Carmichael. We needed a number of jobs done. He came round at really short notice and did such a great job, including on a few little extras that also needed doing. He was really helpful, polite and tidy.

James is wonderful. We had a long list including putting up paintings, fixing a dodgy tap and re-painting a ceiling and James did all of it with speed and skill. That's great but it's also worth saying that he's one of the nicest people I've met in a long time.

Hugely recommended. Our community benefits so much from having people like James.

    • I’d like to recommend local plumber - James at Trelco Plumbing. I’ve used them twice now, for a kitchen tap replacement and a boiler repair. Both times they were able to attend at short notice, arrived on time and we are very happy with the work they have done. James is polite, responsive and easy to deal with. • Deptford Green and Elm Green anecdotally have a more realistic and compassionate to kids differing needs. Whether that is still the case i'm not sure. Having 3 boys at Charter i would seriously consider a boys school if you have them, Charter East really aren't geared up for the different educational needs of some boys and the challenging behaviour this frustration leads to. I have heard amazing things about St Thomas the Apostle boys school.
    • Thanks everyone for the great recommendations! I wouldn't normally go for vegan restaurants, but I've been to En Root and really liked it. Fresh and tasty.  The Ritzy Cinema in Brixton also sell their food, to eat in their cafe before or after a film (I don't think they sell the whole menu that you'd find in Peckham, but there is a good choice)
