Established ED NANNY SHARE looking for families

We have a brilliant nanny share which we are looking for a new family / families to join.

One little boy will be leaving in Feb and my daughter (20 months) will be reducing her days, so there are lots of options available if you're looking for full time or 2 / 3 days etc.

We are based in East Dulwich / Peckham Rye. The hours are 8am-6pm and Jaki, our amazing nanny, picks the children up each morning and drops them home each evening; an absolute godsend for working parents, but if you?d prefer to do drop off / pick up, that?s not a problem.

The arrangement is really flexible and all of our individual requirements are considered.

Jaki has been a nanny for over 30 years, and having grown-up children and grandchildren of her own she is extremely capable and loving ? our daughter has been with her since she was 11 months and adores her ? she lights up when she sees her every morning, which as a working mum makes juggling the balance of work and motherhood so much easier.

Jaki has looked after lots of children during her career, including babies as young as 6 months; she instils confidence in us as parents and is a great support.

Jaki prepares fresh meals (including soft food for weaning babies) and snacks for the children each day, which they sit to eat at the table together.

They have a great routine and all have regular naps for which Jaki sets up travel cots to ensure they?re comfortable and cosy. Each day is varied, Jaki takes them out to parks, playgrounds, local farms, rhyme time etc. They interact with other children looked after by local nannies and do crafts/ play with toys at home ? they had a great summer, spending most of it playing in the paddling pool. Jaki keeps us up to date with pictures throughout the day.

Please feel free to get in touch with any questions or for more information.

Best,

My son Victor is reducing to one day per week in the above wonderful nanny share and we are looking for part-time and full-time people to join. Shar & Jaki are amazing- between them they have a huge wealth of experience and are warm, down to earth and my son comes back beaming and exhausted at the end of the day. They do activities daily like visiting Horniman museum, the city farm, playgrounds and local soft play and sing/rhyme. In the summer, hanging out in the paddling pool cools them all down! All the kids love each other and I have always felt 100% confident about leaving Victor in their care. He chats happily about them when we are back at home!

Victor began with Jaki (for 1 year) and is now with Shar (Jaki?s daughter)- however they very much work as a team.

They eat fresh meals (including soft food for weaning babies) and snacks for the children each day, which they sit to eat at the table together. Victor?s manners are impeccable!

They have a great routine and all have regular naps in travel cots. Jaki & Shar are very responsive to individual routines and have always worked with me to cater the day to what works for us.

The share is based in East Dulwich / Peckham Rye. Shar picks Victor up at 7.30am and drops him off at 6pm which helps a lot as we live in Brockley which is a bit further out.

Please do get in touch for further info.

    • Wanted to come on and do a review for DRJ Builders as I know how hard it is to find good quality and reliable builders in the area! David O'Brien and DRJ Builders are more than that - they are an absolutely brilliant building firm who we can highly recommend. We used them to do a side return extension, loft extension and full house renovation in 2016. They did such a great job, we have just used them again to add on a new rear extension to the ground floor in 2025. David is great to work with from start to finish and has a fantastic team of tradespeople who always deliver a very high standard of work. Would highly recommend them. You can get David on 07960 938621.
    • They do have other lockers where you can drop off parcels, as well as some shops who will take them. If you use the Royal Mail app, or website, you can also arrange for collection of parcels from your house. The service is actually pretty good (and a lot easier than going to the post office). There are a lack of Royal Mail lockers though. Would be good to get some more - perhaps one on North Cross road? They don't need to be outside the Post Office necessarilly.
    • In a similar  vein, are there any charity shops actually taking donations at the moment? ( after the usual post  Christmas chucking out phase, noone would take my things last week, they had too much already).
    • Well whatever parcels it includes would reduce the queue, even if not completely. But I can't see that it's an option at the Lordship Lane office anyway. The bus stop surely wouldn't be moved, it's in a very convenient location.
