We discovered our twin boys' bikes were missing from our communal hallway this morning. Another resident earlier found the front door had been put on the latch when they went out, but no idea if that was done carelessly by another resident or deliberately by the thief. Also no idea how they got in, as there's no damage to the door or lock.

If anyone sees or hears of two (badly faded) orange Cube kids bikes being ridden around or being offered for sale, please get in touch. Obviously I'm keeping an eye on eBay / Gumtree / Shpock etc.

The details are -

2015 Cube Kid 240 SL - frame numbers W0W25030K & W0W09855K (both registered with BikeRegister but only one marked as such)

Hydraulic disc brakes

Suntour XCR LO 24 forks (air suspension)

Shimano Deore 2 x 10 gears

They were originally a bright dayglo orange which has faded a lot over time but are still very bright and noticeable. They were also top of the range bikes when new, so are very light and have very good components - not the average kids bike.

Many thanks.

    • You don't need a gym to lose 10kg. Get a set of dumbbells and maybe a resistance band, find a HIIT channel you like on youtube and workout in your room, eat clean and go out every day. £115/mo is ridiculous. I thought they were supposed to be about £20 to £30 and most people give up come February anyway.
    • Point taken..I go 3-4 times a week and have done every week for several years however £115 a month is still a lot of money for many people (myself included) for a 'non essential' One can if one wishes excersise by running or Cycling, swimming once in a while. Gym membership IS a luxury...
    • Tawny owls are hooting in Dawsons Heights very near me. But very elusive birds. Sadly now on the amber list.  I have heard the owls every night for the past couple of weeks  It is good to know they are here. They are quite loud so I think they are very near. I have never seen an owl in the wild before and wish I  could  see them.
