I have an Akai S2000 sampler, perfect gift for the jungle/DnB producer in your life, or for even yourself if you fancy a treat. You can get some lovely crusty sounds out of this beauty but unfortunately I don't have the time or storage space in my life right now.

The S2000 is a professional and user-expandable studio sampler. The base S2000 model comes with 2MB sample memory which can be expanded to 32MB. Sampling specs are variable from 22kHz to 44.1kHz sample rates in stereo or mono and at 16- or 8-bit resolutions. All the necessary edit tools are here: time comp/exp, tune, pitch shift, truncate, looping, key placement, velocity effects and more. Up to 32 voices of polyphony, complete MIDI implementation, a built-in disk drive and a SCSI interface prepare this sampler for any situation.

Polyphony - 32 voices

Sampler - 22 to 44.1 kHz sample rates; 8-Bit or 16-Bit

LFO - 2 LFOs

Filter - 12 dB resonant filtering

Effects - Up to 4 effects

Keyboard - None

Memory - 48 MB: 2 MB expandable to 32 MB + 16 MB ROM Card

Control - MIDI (16 channels)

SE22 pick up.

    • Gosh, calm down.. How about not getting so heated, and not eat for 24 hours with sips of water? Try it and you may, just may understand, starvation, no water. No meds at all even if you need them - hasten to add, don’t do it at all if you are medically dependent. In fact, why doesn’t ED - do this for half a day - say in Oct, when everyone has come back from enjoying their, hols, new term starting and as a community, we could all be 1.? Before, November, fireworks, etc.
    • Many thanks I have sent them a message
    • Stop foreign aid spend and re-direct those funds to improve the lives of UK citizens.  People shouldn't have to rely on charities and food banks, their is enough food wasted in this country already which could be re-directed.  Let their own Govts feed them, why does the UK have to do it, how about other nations contributing.  Well if aid can't reach them, how are they supposed to be fed if as you say food parcels being dropped from planes doesn't work.  Lets sort out this country first and put UK citizens first for a change.
    • Well that really is not Christian Spirit at all - we all live in this world and yes, totally agree that it would be wonderful to have no conflict in the world but that is not possible. Yes we have people in need of food  in this country but overall enough charities and organisation in the west to help. We are talking about thousands of people who are starving - not just going hungry - a huge difference would you not agree ? Aid can’t reach people - for whatever conflict and don’t think people dropping parcels, boxes etc from planes would be the answer either.
