dulwichgirl2
Quick poll - what do your children address grownups as? Eg Mr Smith, Freddie's daddy, Tom, Uncle Tom etc.?And do they refer to the adult in the same way? ladywotlunches
All of the above, depending on whether its a teacher, a friend's parent, one of our friends, or their Uncle Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/21610-addressing-adults/#findComment-516548 Share on other sites
Sanne Panne
Depends on what I think the adult in question is happiest with. Definitely use same wording at home especially with younger kids. Fuschia
Depends who they are.Aunts and uncles, as such. Adult cousins, first name. Their godparents, either aunt/uncle, or first name.Where they know th child rather than the parent, it's 'ilona's mummy!'
