Anyone who commutes via Denmark Hill probably needs a morale boost after the last few months of walking round the back of the station and seeing construction and mud.

Well I got a little curious about where it was all heading. So I googled about and found a set of illustrations of how it should look when all this is done. Here is the slideshow http://www.flickr.com//photos/93439821@N00/sets/72157621778904669/show/with/3775104512/

Looks alright, but there is a lot of work to be done.

Not two but three lifts - one to each platform and I presume we all will have to go in through the glass entrance on Champion Park and the oyster reader will be there. Its not clear how much of the old station hall will be there - I hope Cafe Pronto is and we can use the old entrance too!

    • It was indeed in the vicinity of DKH. I live on the ED estate and I could tell it must be close by because of the noise. When I left my house this morning I found the culprits litter still in the middle of the st. It looked like they had lit a whole box on fire in the middle of the road. My cat jumped out of her skin. I’ll try and report it on Southwark website same as I have had to with other illegal use this week. Any other ideas for what we can do with the photos? Maybe one of the Southwark councillors. It’s outrageous and dangerous behaviour.
    • Had another great meal there…. those that haven’t tried it, give it a go.. have a special lunch menu as well so you can get a flavour of the food.
    • If you "cotton on" and read the council announcement, it clearly states "The library will be closed from 17 November until late June or early July 2026."  https://www.southwark.gov.uk/2025/dulwich-library-closing-refurbishment
    • I’ve been seeing Lisa at goose green clinic for energy work for a year now.  Lisa is kind, caring and hugely supportive. She is wonderfully masterful and trained as a reiki master for 20 plus years. Alongside other energy work.  My time spent with her is like therapy. An emotional safe space for deep conversations and reflection followed by relaxing and energising healing work.  each experience I’ve had has been different, the end result remains the same. Feel lighter, almost euphoric and almost float home. Definitely an experience not to be missed.  https://www.goosegreenclinic.net/therapies/healing-energy-work/
