A perfectly good and comfortable sofa free for a good loving home. Had it for 4 years but have recently moved and bought a new sofa to match the flat. A project which was re-upholstered with the brown suede in its current form but never got round to fitting the back cover as had it against a wall so never needed to, so ideal if going to be covered.

It's in a lower ground flat and happy to assist loading it into van. Also have a zipcar account and willing to rent a van for local delivery if you cover the cost (?9.5/hr weekdays or ?11/hr weekends).

Please let me know if interested, need to give it away by the weekend end if possible.

Thanks,

Sofa still available.

Needs to go this this weekend ideally.

Quite reluctant to tip it as there must be someone out there in need of a comfy sofa!

I have the fabric for the back which just needs fitting.

If it's not taken by tomorrow, is there anywhere other than the tip I could take it?

    • Thanks very much for that.   I think the better informed we are, the better our discussions will be. The article contained: "That arrest had quite an impact on the [phone theft] numbers for the following month,” said Green.  Here's another indicator, admittedly a piece of police PR,  of how well-targeted police efforts, mostly invisible to us,  can when successful  seriously affect offending figures: https://news.met.police.uk/news/met-police-drive-down-theft-and-robbery-by-84-percent-in-battersea-and-nine-elms-500495.
    • Another excellent article from Jim Waterson's London Centric reporting https://www.londoncentric.media/p/kitchen-foil-and-algerian-markets?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email Interesting that there seem to be favoured and repeated routes for phone snatching for particular thieves.  Seems ED might be one of them ☹️
    • Anywhere near the Overground/Windrush due to its excellent transport links.  You will get larger place in SE23 for example that will give you enough spare cash for private school if that's what you really want but states schools generally good, reflecting the demographic  Easy to get to the bustling streets of East Dulwich but in ten years see what happens to Forest Hill centre.  The whole of the area is full of green spaces. Access to East Croydon for days out in the South Coast
