Hi everyone. I just want to recommend a really excellent local painter and decorator. His name is Rado Nemcik and he's been a painter/decorator in the area for over 10 years. He's not expensive but he's fantastic at what he does. He takes the time to prepare the walls and you get a fantastic finish. He painted our entire house after we had an extension and we were so pleased with the result. He lives locally and is extremely reliable. He speaks brilliant English and excellent Slovak!   Whilst clearly 'a crime', I don't think this necessarily sits with the other things you have described. A tragic and awful incident certainly, and dreadfully traumatic to the victim, but not part of any 'crime wave' as such, I suspect. It's the sort of thing which, sadly, can happen anywhere (I, again, suspect).

  Does anybody have a folding pasting table they no longer need? All the ones I've found online seem to have terrible reviews, mainly due to being unstable, or else coming apart! I don't mind if it's grubby, I just want it to gesso wallpaper lining paper, for art not walls!

  Massive thank you to Stephen. Painted our whole house - and got lots of other bits sorted, too. Nothing was too much trouble, everything looks great and all came in on quote. Fantastic. Liverpool fan, but don’t hold that against him. Will 100% use again.

  We worked with Eliot recently to get two sets of shelves built. He was excellent! Really high quality craftsmanship, communicative and lovely - I’d recommend Langley Carpentry in a heartbeat.
