Recommending our painter/decorator

Hi everyone. I just want to recommend a really excellent local painter and decorator. His name is Rado Nemcik and he's been a painter/decorator in the area for over 10 years. He's not expensive but he's fantastic at what he does. He takes the time to prepare the walls and you get a fantastic finish. He painted our entire house after we had an extension and we were so pleased with the result. He lives locally and is extremely reliable. He speaks brilliant English and excellent Slovak!   Steve used to joke that my old VW Golf kept them in business. I've got a more reliable car now so maybe that's why they are closing. Sad day.

  Is Dell Autos closing down completely or just moving? For whatever it's worth, for MOTs I've had good recent experience with The Test Centre in Deptford. They only do MOTs so they don't have any particular incentive to fail you and they usually have same day appointments. Open 7 days a week and late. https://www.thetestcentre.co.uk/our-test-centres/deptford-branch/ Obviously you would still need a "normal" garage to do servicing and repairs etc.

  No. What happened? I actually thought, considering it was what we used to call Guy Fawkes Day last night, the loud noises from fireworks ended remarkably early. About 9pm? Maybe I just fell asleep and didn't hear any later ones. Do people actually burn Guys any more? Apart from at places like Lewes, where I believe they still have Bonfire Societies and burn effigies of various political figures etc.
