Sunworshipper
In an effort to reach those who have previously posted on the thread entitled "Piplings nursery" and were asking how they could show their support for the campaign to keep it open and with apologies to those who have already seen this message on that other thread.....Many many thanks to all those who have taken the time to post messages of support. As parents of children who attend Piplings, we feel very strongly about the nursery and would be devastated if this valuable community resource has to close ? not just because it would be difficult to find alternative childcare in an area where it is sorely lacking but because Piplings offers something so very special. Please visit our website at www.friendsofpiplings.org for further information and to sign our petition. Thank you again for your support, it means a great deal to us.Friends of Piplings Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/21705-help-save-piplings-nursery/ Share on other sites

Pickle
I have signed and wish you all the best. I looked round Piplings when it first opened and thought it was lovely, and it has been great to hear of it doing so well. To have it close is ludicrous! ladywotlunches
Thanks Pickle, and everyone else for their support. Over 150 signatures online now, plus 50 or so more from the weekend when some of us were out talking to local residents about this. The overwhelming sense of support for the nursery has been brilliant. If you do support the nursery, the petition is still open so feel free to add your name at www.friendsofpiplings.org Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/21705-help-save-piplings-nursery/#findComment-518709 Share on other sites
Anna27
It would be such a shame if the nursery had to close, this is something we should all be supporting as it effects ED as much as forest hill, the waiting lists in ED are crazy.outstanding ofsted report in all 17 areas!! ladywotlunches
The story has been picked up by the South London Press, in today's issue, page 13, or read it on the Friends of Piplings site:http://friendsofpiplings.wordpress.com/news/ Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/21705-help-save-piplings-nursery/#findComment-519026 Share on other sites
toomuchchocolate
Good to see this story gaining coverage in the Evening Standard. i really hope those people who are trying to force it's closure are taking heed of the support the nursery has, both locally in ED and FH, as well as London wide. It would be such a shame for such an outstanding childcare provider to be forced to close by a piece of property law designed for a whole different era of family life. labelwriter
Hi, I was just wondering if anyone knew if Piplings was still open? I know it was due to close but not sure if this has happened. I did call but not had a call back. Thanks. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/21705-help-save-piplings-nursery/#findComment-524755 Share on other sites
ladywotlunches
Hi thereI'm pleased, as a very happy parent, to say that Piplings is still open! There are places available at East Dulwich branch, and some spaces (I think) at Forest Hill too. Best way to contact them is via email (they are busy with running the nurseries during the day!).
