Good morning womanofdulwich,

I have a x5 H20 steamer which is a real amazing tool. I have used this device to clean glass and windows which were caked in 20 years of filth, all flooring surfaces at which it excells, painted walls and mould. Having used it a number of times I have to say I'd recommend it without question. Mine was a gift from the home shopping channel making it even nicer. The only job I have yet to do cleaning wheels for which it has an attachment.

Recently I discovered a very serious mould problem in my bedroom, it was growing up the wall behind the beds headboard. Being concerned about not just the green and black mould also having some red mould which is real bad. So I set about the wall with the steamer and so far 1+ month it has not returned.

    • I know people won’t have any sympathy but the SEND challenge was brought up when taxing parents who have opted for independent school to meet a child’s SEND needs. Funding crisis is getting worse and the VAT on Education pushed children out of independent schools, now their SEND needs are to be met by the state.
    • I completely agree with you - and last night was really terrible where I am. Between midnight and 1am was the worst, where it genuinely felt like a war zone. I had to run out of my house to try and stop a grown man setting them off in open space right by our front doors. In response he went to throw a half lit one at me and then seemed to think better of it. I am so sad at how bad the situation has got here and how selfish people are. Fireworks are bad for the environment and for pets and wildlife, as well as just being unnecessary noise for people too. I have sent an email today to Helen Hayes, which I have done previously on this issue. Would advise anyone to write to your MP to do the same, and to ask them to engage with the debates scheduled for 19 Jan.
    • And they started long before midnight!
    • First mate - I wondered if I was imagining things at 4.45 this morning . Apparently not .
