Selling our lovely 9 seat Caravelle.

MOT till 19 November 2019.

Lovely van. reconditioned engine 3 years ago (fitted at XMB Motors)

The van had 137000 miles on it when we got the engine changed.

The reconditioned engine had 55302 miles on it and we've done about 20,000 since then.

The milage reads 157622 however the actual current engine milage is only 75302.

It was an automatic which we changed to a manual gearbox last year, fitted again at XMB.

This is more economical and less problematic.

Very powerful engine re-chipped to 130bhp by XMB. Cruises at 80mph.

Huge and adaptable space, 9 seats fold to give a double bed space or van-sized cargo space with home-made OSB shelf.

Double sliding doors in back.

We had 2 sliding windows fitted in rear.

We also fitted double front passenger seat so that it can seat 9 (V5 has been updated).

It is registered with TFL as a 9 seater has a reduced congestion fee.

Home-made suction cup stick on reflective blinds.

Engine and gearbox sound, runs very smoothly.

Maggiolina roof tent (sleeps 2) is not included, but can be left on if you want, extra ?900.

Aircon has never worked, not been a problem for us.

The front passenger door speaker and pocket had to be removed when we fitted the double front seat, speaker included, just never got round to refitting.

By no means immaculate, there are dents, scrapes and small areas of rust, would benefit from some TLC, inspection recommended..

We have had great holidays in this van with our family of 6. We had 3 kids in the roof tent and 2 adults and young child inside. Very comfortable. We used a mattress topper from Ikea which fits well and folds in the back during driving.

We put new stereo in when we bought it 3 years ago.

    • It was a reactionary post and inappropriate when talking about a real case and a real person who was harmed.  London streets are generally pretty safe.  Sadly violent crime happens from time to time, as it always has.
    • Do tell, CPR Dave, what the spiteful jealous stuff is - I'm intrigued.  Agree - Burnham is a top class communicator (polar opposite of Starmer) he'd do a great job of uniting the party. I still think Wes Streeting has the edge, though I'm sure he has more enemies as well.
    • This is a huge part of the problem.   Starmer is only interested in himself, not in what is best for our country.    There's a litany of stuff he's done for spiteful jealous personal reasons which has damaged the nation enormously. Burnham would be a much better leader than of the other dross left behind when Starmer goes. To inflict a worse leader (and PM) upon us for his own selfish reasons would add to the problems and be entirely in keeping with his woeful premiership so far.
    • I heard today there was a burglary in Lacon Road yesterday evening between 20.00 - 22.00,  apparently the owners were home at the time & thieves got away with electrical items along with the owners car!  Wtf!   Anyone heard anything else?
