I start a new job tomorrow and daughter number 3 looks like she is coming down with something...not sure I will be able to take her to nursery. I probably sound like the worst mother in the world, but as it is my first day of a new job, I don't feel I can take it off.

What do people do for emergency childcare? Is their anyone out their with a CRB check and appropraite experience/references who is available tomorrow from 8 - 6? This could possibly turn into longer term work for the right person as I am quickly realising that nursery may not work out as intended.

Thanks.

    • Another recommendation for Adam on the Dartmouth Road. Have been going there for years. I will never go anywhere else (unless I move home to somewhere far away!) No faff, very reasonal price and nice atmosphere 👍
    • Thanks so much I’ll try that too… might still try getting hold of an air purifier as well if at all possible - want to try cover all bases!
    • The 185 is often the same. But that's why buses sometimes (and annoyingly) stop to "regulate the service". To be fair, it's often due to traffic conditions. If there is not much traffic, the one behind catches up with the one in front.
    • I imagine this is because of the average  additional time involved, due to the styles. You could have asked the reason? I will ask, next time I'm in there.  Many salons have this differential pricing.
