Nanny / Carer needed

Recommended Posts

Hi, I hope all is going great.

Im looking for a suitable nanny for our family, located Forest Hill SE23.

Im needing a friendly, warm, fun, outgoing, carer for my 6 year old son who is homeschooled. My son has SEN and needs help with phonics, his speech, handwriting, spelling and helping him in learning to read. Also someone who can create fun sporty activities within our home and large garden, 4 hours a week.

Also you will need to be able to mentor and care for my 10 year old son with SEN needs currently home educated. The role would be to support him in social skills a a weekly drama / forest school, sports groups weekly as well as facilitating support around his social media interests and sporty activities such as football. The role also requires 3 hours of admin each week and I require a minimum of 9 hours of supporting him each week during term time and also the holidays. Also support needed during occasional weekends away at Festivals. Driver preferred.

Please note the carer role for my both my sons would ideally be the same person; but it would be working individually at different times with both my sons needs.

Hope to hear back soon

Thanks so much

    • To be fair, a pot of tea for one in a department store is a small pot, and you only get one cup or mug!
    • I know - we have been here lots of times since it first opened,  which is why we were disappointed that it was closed at a time it was supposed to be open, but with no notice to say why! I guess we will just  have to ask the reason at our next visit, but I'm not sure we will risk Saturday lunchtime again unless we find the closure  was an unavoidable one off ....
    • Nope. I don’t have this wrong. I’ve tried to put my point across respectfully, without resorting to personal, angry insults. And all my colleagues agree that the BBC got this right in its condemnation.    All you see is confirmation bias.    If you don’t realise that, then you’re part of the problem.
    • We have always gone during the week at lunch time - great place and good value. Husband has been several times on his own and owner knows his first name. I could not go one time for some reason and she sent him home with some spring rolls (free)
