Recommending our wonderful Nanny

Because of job changes, we are letting our wonderful nanny of eight years go. She is available from the beginning of June or sooner. I could not recommend Mari more warmly. She has been with us since our son was three and our daughter not even one. The children love her: She is vivacious, loving and great fun. We have been able to trust her completely. She is very honest, reliable and flexible and has not only looked after the children, but also the house and us. Before us, she worked with another local family for ten years. She holds DBS, driving licence, first aid and other relevant courses. Please PM me to get in touch with her and for more information.

    • @first mate I assume Alice made a mistake, as she removed her reaction.  I was wondering about park wardens. As I said, there was one there last night, who was incredibly helpful and proactive. As well as bringing me to the police, he caught up with a young guy on a bike who'd earlier been the victim of an attempted theft by these kids and linked him up with the police too. But I do wonder, as I've only very occasionally seen him riding around, how many they have and what hours they patrol. I've no doubt they'd be a strong deterrent if they had a better presence. They were nowhere to be seen the first time around.
    • Some of us oldies would associate Grove with the old Grove Vale School (which I went to in the 1950s)
    • The toilets at this spot in the park have been vandalised to such an extent that they are now closed.
    • Hello! I'm looking for 2-3 baby gates I can borrow from 17th August - 6th September for a visitor.  Does anyone have any I could use? Thank you!
