Baby jogger city mini - advice needed

Does any one out there own one a baby jogger city mini?if yes do i need a carrycot with it for a new born baby or am i wasting my money?

I have just bought one- am 38 weeks pg. Am not planning on using carry cot just reclining seat flat and putting fleece in city jogger to make it all cosy.this is my second child and don't reckon carry cot is required....

I also have one which I use for my toddler (its a fantastic pushchair) and planning to use for newborn when toddler at nursery, going to recline and use with sheepskin liner, or perhaps use my phil and teds cocoon for when baby is really tiny, will see how it goes :-)

I'm using a graco soft Carrycot meant for the graco quatro travel system in mine. It fits really well. The wedge makes it lay flat (phil teds cocoon doesn't have one so baby would have head below feet if you want them facing you). You clip it to the D rings in the buggy. Our 3 month old is v snug in it and as you know city mini great to stear with 1 hand so you can keep hold of toddler with the other. You can buy it separately at toys r us for about 40 pounds (order online and collect at old Kent road store or have delivered).

Yes I am using a graco in the city mini, it fits in nicely.
