As anyone here with kids under about 5 will already know that the BBC have got a massive hit tv show called in the night garden. Well they have very wisely aimed this at getting kids hooked and it has quickly turned into some sort of phonenomon with little ones.

They have brought out the whole range of toys which are not cheap and a getting really hard to get hold of now. I have been looking for these blasted toys everywhere but am not getting much joy. Trouble is they are in such demand that they are out of stock everyewhere on and offline.

Found a website though with stock left and they are free, the big 16" interactive ones.

I know you parents will be chuffed with this and if you dont have kids then you may still use it if you have grand kids or kids to buy for this year.

    • In what sense? Be more specific  (and I have worked in retail and hospitality)  nothing I said is in any way anti-retail as far as I can see  Out of interest and for comparison, which country do you think gets it right to a significant degree?
    • The root of all these problems is that the model of capitalism pursued in this country for the last 45 years has failed utterly. It’s only true beneficiaries inhabit an ever decreasing circle of have-lots in a sea of have-nots, defended by an increasingly squeezed band of born at the right time boomers, which surely cannot hold.
    • I'm talking about parts of the country economically deprived, some that never recovered from the loss of traditional industries. But in your point, yes, there are those that are never happy.  We should be reasonably happy in this area.
    • This feels like you have never worked in retail or understand the pressures retail businesses have 😅
