I have no idea where to post this strange request but a friend of mine is a stylist and needs to borrow a corgi for a photo shoot for vogue. does anyone have one or know anyone who has one who might want a picture of their dog in a magazine?!

I'm expecting lots of silly responses to this but I promise its a real request so pleas help if you can!

Wind your neck in PGC - I'm not being dismissive - I'm just saying that you can hire an animal model from an agency and I would think that Vogue can afford it so that's Jack's friend's best bet.

Animals can command a pretty high fee for shoots, and it seems that just getting your animal's picture in the magazine as reward is pretty miserly on Conde Nast's part. Also animal models are trained to be sit still for a picture - having worked with "professionals" and "amateurs" in the past, I can tell you that the latter are a fucking nightmare.

So yes, I do think that an animal model agency is the best bet.

    • Hi, I saw your post and just wanted to say that the incident you’re referring to did happen in the late 1980s at Dawson’s Heights. The person involved was named Carl Salawa, and he had just turned 18 years old at the time. Like you, I haven’t been able to find any news articles or official reports about it, If anyone remembers anything more about that time or incident, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for sharing what you were told—it means a lot to know others remember.
    • Was anyone else disturbed last night/early hours this morning by the party going on in someone’s garden on Crystal Palace road. Can’t see what house exactly but it’s around number 43 - 41… it was happening quite frequently last year. Seems it’s starting again! Very inconsiderate.
