Mothers Day - instead of spending on gifts how about making a donation?

I've asked my husband and children to make a donation for Mothers Day instead of buying me flowers or us going out for lunch.

Thought I'd share in case anyone has seen the news reports of the poor people suffering in Mozambique, Malawi and Zimbabwe floods, and wanted to do something to help...

Lovely idea! My daughter asked me what I'd like as a present for Mother's Day - a handmade card and a cuppa in bed please! But now I'll be suggesting a donation here too
