French speaking after-school help wanted - summer term

We are looking for a french-speaking after-school nanny / home help for the summer term, ideally 4 or 5 evenings a week, between 3pm and 7pm.

Duties will include picking up children (6 year old girl and 8 year old boy) from their respective schools, bringing them home, supervising homework, preparing dinner, tidying up, preparing clothes and school bags for the next day and getting them ready for bed.

It is essential that all the communication / conversation with the children is in french. The family are all native english speakers, but need to become fluent in french.

We have some flexibility with regards to how many days, so if you are interested in the role, please PM me to discuss. References will be required.

Many thanks

Claire

    • I’d also recommend Paul for electrical work. He came round the other week to help us out with a handful of jobs (installing an SPD, new light fittings, installing a dimmer switch, a bathroom fan). His quote was cheaper than what I got from others, he turned up on time and he got the job done quickly.
    • We’d like to add our recommendation for Lukasz and team at L&L Building & Maintenance.  Lukasz has recently installed a roof terrace for us, and we’ve found him a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We contacted about a dozen recommended builders and found his quote very competitive. During the build his team delivered quality work, they were no hassle in the house at all and they kept the place tidy every day. The terrace looks great, and we’re very happy customers. What stood out in particular was Lukasz’s responsiveness, right from discussing quotes to follow-up during the build. Lukasz often checked in and was always available when we needed him.  We’ll definitely contact Lukasz again for future building work and we’d happily recommend him to others looking for a reliable builder.   Lukasz Kugaczewski L&L Building & Maintenance 07926651960 [email protected] www.landl-build.com
    • Yes, I did mention the train, which I now get from East Dulwich to Guys instead of the 40. Depends where in East Dulwich you are starting from which route is easiest! I think it is probably lack of staff rather than lack of hospitals which is the problem?
    • What can be done? How about reporting it to the police?
