Gas engineer-recommendations please

I'm looking for a corgi/gas safe engineer who can install a new hob for me. Whilst there's loads of recommendations for other types of tradesmen here, there isn't much for this. I'd be really grateful if anyone can recommend someone they've used. Ideally I'd like someone who could check some plumbing for me as well but not essential. Many thanks!

We used Pete Bennison (http://www.pmbennison.co.uk/Home/Services) for a Gas emergency a year or so back and would definitely recommend him. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and reasonably priced too.

Looks like he does installations and plumbing as well as saving houses from exploding with a gas leak!

I contacted a few engineers after our boiler stopped working. We resolved the problem in the end so didn't need to call someone out, but Michael (Mickey) was really generous with advice and analysis. We spent a good 15 minutes talking on the phone, despite not requiring his services at that time. He was very knowledgeable and candid with his suggestions ? if the problem comes back I'll be going straight back.

    • Why not get a real poodle.  They can be clipped to look like a cockapoo if you like.  They don’t need to be in a show clip.  They don’t shed.    Both breeds would need regular grooming.  I have/had friends with very charming poodles both medium and standard so see if you can make the acquaintance of some.

    • They're both names that have stuck in my mind, Lukasz particularly.  These searches may well be helpful to you.   From a cursory look, I think Pawel's appearance in the 2015 'Rogue trader warning'  isn't to his detriment. https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/search/?q= Lukasz&quick=1 https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/search/?q=Pawel&quick=1
    • Hi - I posted a request for some help with a stuck door and possible leaky roof. I had responses from Lukasz at Look_as.com and Pawel at Sublime Builders. I don't see any/many reviews - has anyone used either person?  Could use a recommendation rather then just being contact by the tradespeople... Many Thanks
