FREE Single truckle bed + ikea mattress

Later edit: Gone

Free single truckle bed + ikea mattress to give away that's been with us for the past year - see photos.

Condition is Used. Collection in person only from SE15, London.

The single pop-up truckle bed is from a bed set. This was the pop-up part it has its own legs and is perfectly suitable as a single bed in its own right, particularly if space is tight. It comes with a 90cm/single Ikea mattresses that is lightly used but clean - pet free and smoke free home.

*Because of little space, the frame has been stored in our garden shed for a couple of weeks now and it has marks. Looking for a good loving home, would do well with some TLC. However the mattress was always stored inside.

The set would cost ?700 new. The frame is 196cm long, 93cm wide and stands approx. 45cm high without a mattress on it.

Photos attached.

Free to anyone who can collect from SE15. You?ll need a van or a roof rack or a long estate with fold down seats.

Thanks!

    • I imagine Franco Manca's business dropped off quite a bit when Yard Sale opened (though isn't Yard Sale delivery only?) But in any case, both of those are chains.
    • Thanks. I'll call them shortly as I could get there without the car.  That's good of Sainsburys! We've done the apple pie and tart thing, an ongoing muesli thing and the coleslaw thing - just not sure what effect all the sugars are having on our digestive tracts.  If we were in Somerset and had a press, I'd consider it. Can't be that diffcult, can it?
    • One time Sainsbury's delivered 6 bags of apples instead of 6 single apples which I couldn't possibly get through. I phoned Pecan in Peckham to ask if they would accept them despite their website stating no fresh foods. I must have phoned at just the right time as they were happy to accept them. Sainsburys gave me a refund so the donation was courtesy of them. Or you could experiment with all kinds of apple recipes and write a blog about it
    • There's a food bank off Dog Kennel Hill. Albrighton Community Fridge. https://www.albrightoncommunityfridge.org/ I'm sure they would welcome them, but maybe check first, as they don't actually mention fresh fruit on their website? But apples aren't that perishable. Drop off seven days a week 9 - 5. Be warned if you are going by car, parking can be very difficult, easiest if there are two of you so one person can take the food in while the other can move the car if necessary.
