Donate a bike to Africa

Hi, while not wanting to undermine the efforts of Monica and the EDSNUB Bikes for Schools project, I thought I'd point out that it is now possible to donate your old bike to ReCycle via Action Bikes:

I help support a bike workshop in Malawi that benefits from shipments of bikes from ReCycle. I know how well our second hand bikes are received in Malawi - kids cycling to school and farmers taking their produce to the market to name but two. It's great to be able to donate bikes through London bike shops.

Thought you might be interested in seeing a photo of some of the people who use bikes donated to Re-Cycle http://www.re-cycle.org/for Malawi to help in combatting child trafficking.

Community volunteers raise awareness of the problem in their villages and help people (mostly families who allow their children to be trafficked and farmers who use boys to herd cattle all day)understand their responsibilities to children. Volunteers are also often involved in rescuing children from exploitative labour situations.
