Pashley Sovereign bicycle for sale - ?120

Black 1920's style bicycle with 5-gear Sturmey-Archer integrated into the rear hub, a nice comfy, springy seat, Dutch-style integrated rear wheel lock (with key intact!), mudguards and skirt protector, rear parcel rack and front wicker basket.

It's in fair condition with everything working as it should but with one or two small spots of rust. It's not been ridden for a couple of years but has been kept completely dry in a garage.

I think it would suit someone 5'4" to 5'8". (It is too big for me at 5'2", which is why I am selling it as I don't ever ride it.)

Hopefully there is someone who would like it, as it's a lovely looking bike and they're so expensive to buy new.

    • I imagine Franco Manca's business dropped off quite a bit when Yard Sale opened (though isn't Yard Sale delivery only?) But in any case, both of those are chains.
    • Thanks. I'll call them shortly as I could get there without the car.  That's good of Sainsburys! We've done the apple pie and tart thing, an ongoing muesli thing and the coleslaw thing - just not sure what effect all the sugars are having on our digestive tracts.  If we were in Somerset and had a press, I'd consider it. Can't be that diffcult, can it?
    • One time Sainsbury's delivered 6 bags of apples instead of 6 single apples which I couldn't possibly get through. I phoned Pecan in Peckham to ask if they would accept them despite their website stating no fresh foods. I must have phoned at just the right time as they were happy to accept them. Sainsburys gave me a refund so the donation was courtesy of them. Or you could experiment with all kinds of apple recipes and write a blog about it
    • There's a food bank off Dog Kennel Hill. Albrighton Community Fridge. https://www.albrightoncommunityfridge.org/ I'm sure they would welcome them, but maybe check first, as they don't actually mention fresh fruit on their website? But apples aren't that perishable. Drop off seven days a week 9 - 5. Be warned if you are going by car, parking can be very difficult, easiest if there are two of you so one person can take the food in while the other can move the car if necessary.
