Mrs TP
Plain baked in foil for 20mins and served on top of mash potato with a poached egg on top of the fish - delicious (and even better with smoked fish). hellosailor
put white fish fillets in foil parcel, having squeezed some lemon over, put a few cherry tomatoes in each parcel and brushed the top with bit of red pesto. Or put a ceramic dish in the oven with a layer of thinly sliced potato, a layer of white fish cut into pieces about an inch buy an inch, a layer of white onion, layer of cheese, then repeat layers so the top layer is cheese, dot with butter and cook, makes a basic cheesy fish pie. v tasty Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/22280-white-fish-recipe/#findComment-527483 Share on other sites
Gidget
Fish tacos. Use grilled, baked or fried fish. Can use frozen fillets. Add to preferably heated corn tortilla (can use wheat) and squeeze lime over. Add guacamole, salsa, chopped white cabbage (pretend it is lettuce) and chopped coriander if liked. Also a dressing made of yogurt, mayo, like a ranch dressing can be made and added. Or use tartare sauce. Can let kids assemble their own. There are a lot of fish taco recipes online. Some use battered fish. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/22280-white-fish-recipe/#findComment-527488 Share on other sites
amydown
Little bit of olive oil in pan, put the fish in and when it's slightly cooked, break it up and put cooked rice in. A teaspoon of curry powder in, and spring onions - white fish curry fried rice! A winning dish in our house.
