SPD Tuition and Coaching

We believe that any form of personal development starts with self-belief, enjoyment and the confidence to keep trying. As a young child, we develop the strength and stamina to walk through the process of falling down and getting back up. Over time this resilience can be lost as the fear of failure and judgment creeps in, making space for self-doubt. We believe that people are always doing the best they can with what they have and we keep this at the forefront of our minds in all that we do. This belief allows us to enable every child, adult, and business to succeed in walking through life successfully. Regardless of your motives, desires or current situation, we can help you to be the best that you can be!

We offer tailored one to one tutoring and coaching for children to accelerate progress and develop their confidence and communication skills.

We provide parental coaching and strategy support, whether you are new to parenting or not, it can be one of the most rewarding but challenging roles on the planet. Children don?t arrive with a manual and often as parents, we are learning on the job, feeling that we could or should be doing something differently. Parental coaching is not about criticising what you are doing, but about supporting you in being the best and happiest parent that you can be. Providing support in developing the strategies needed in juggling everyday parental and life challenges.

Alternatively, we work with a range of small business owners and leadership teams who are ready to take control of their business and drive it to the next level. We will support you in developing in the management of your team and time even better to increase your profit, our coaches can help to maximise your success. We offer a range of business coaching packages to support you and your team in reaching your goals and achieving success.

    • A couple of updates to this terrible event:   1) In 2021, two cousins (one from Penge and one from Streatham) were convicted of murder and sentenced to a minimum of 23 years in prison. The Southwark News has a summary of the awful day. https://southwarknews.co.uk/area/dulwich/donnell-rhule-dulwich-knife-murderer-cousins-sentenced-to-life-for-killing-18-year-old/    2) Last week, a female prison officer from Forest Hill was sentenced to eight months in prison for pursuing a relationship with one of the two murderers while at HMP Brixton. https://metro.co.uk/2025/12/15/probation-officer-admits-relationship-prisoner-hmp-belmarsh-25501445/ https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/38203627/probation-officer-jailed-illicit-relationship-murderer-secure-prison/
    • The Commons Public Accounts Committee questioned both the CEO and MD of Capita yesterday, at their last meeting before the recess:  https://committees.parliament.uk/event/25889/formal-meeting-oral-evidence-session/.  In October they'd already expressed concern that Capita might not  be able to efficiently retake over responsibility for the administration within the timescale. Given the joint statement recently issued by Capita and the Cabinet Office I'm not sure that contacting an MP is going to add much, other than venting what I think most of us can probably appreciate of what those affected are likely  to be thinking and feeling; unless perhaps, and I hope it's not needed, to report on deficiencies in the immediate rescue actions.
    • She's responded, but I'm sure I read something in the Guardian consumer advice column. Might be some pointers if you're stuck
    • Two for Ratcliffe, the obvious one:   And one simply because it has the word  "You are nothing but blind fascists" in it.  Oh and a good song too.   Haven't listened to this for years.  Bloody good!
